THE RESULTS ARE IN
I have just completed a Six Pack in 30 Days program. I’m sure you’re dying to see the results, because I have BEFORE and AFTER pictures. However, please keep in mind that I am happily married, so…sorry I’m off limits.
This post is going to be somewhat embarrassing for me because I’m sharing photos of myself before and after my six pack in 30 days transformation. I’m not embarrassed of my progress, but there is something vulnerable about putting scantily clad pics of your mom body on the internet for all to see. I’m pretty sure you aren’t supposed to do that ever, which is why Snapchat was invented. However, I think it’s important for everyone to have a logical mindset about goals such as a six pack in 30 days when you’re an average Joe like me.
So, before you proceed, I think you should know some stuff:
- Although it might seem like it, I am not a fitness model 😉
- I don’t have Photoshop
- There are stretch marks happening
- I have BABYFAT…see what I did there?
- I think this was an awesome start to an ab workout routine!

I got a c-section with my son in 2016. That was not the most fun. I was healing up and noticed that I had “some” hanging flab above the scar. I talked to my sister, who is a seasoned veteran with c-sections but is super skinny and hot. She said, “Oh yes, that is called ‘the mother’s skirt’”.
I thought…oh…that sucks…and went on with my sedentary lifestyle (when I probably should have asked for advice on getting rid of it…oh well, lessons learned). I figured the mother’s skirt and me were going to be bffs.
In 2017, I had my daughter the normal way (which I recommend)…and the mother’s skirt and I seemed to be on decent terms after that (aka it didn’t seem as flabby after the natural as with the c-section).
However, after my lifestyle change in January, I decided the mother’s skirt and I needed to break up. What better way to separate myself from this toxic relationship than a Six Pack in 30 days program! I’ll give it a shot, and see if I can get a six pack of my own that DOESN’T come from the fridge.
The Program – Six Pack in 30 Days
I downloaded an app. It is called Six Pack in 30 Days.
It is actually really great! There are three programs: Lose Belly Fat, Rock Hard Abs, and Six Pack Abs. I figured I was in the Lose Belly Fat arena. The program started off fairly easy, which was great for me to ease into it without wanting to quit. Workouts really take as long as you need them to…I noticed mine started off about 5 minutes, by the end of the month it was around 9 minutes. You basically click through when you’ve completed each exercise, so there is no leaving you in the dust if you need more time, or you can accelerate through the workout if you need to get it done (which happened to me a lot because of kids).
Now the moment you’ve all been waiting for: BEFORE AND AFTER
It may be comparable to a Highlights magazine trying to find the differences, but it is pretty clear that some things have changed!
What you might not be able to tell from the picture is that I definitely strengthened my core, lost weight, lost inches, and toned my muscles. Other awesome things:
- The program starts you at a 30 second plank, and now I can do a 60 second plank, no problem!
- I’ve lost 11 lbs since starting this program (keep in mind that I have changed my diet and run almost every day).
- I started with 15 ab workout moves and ended with 22 workout moves.
- My BMI is now in the “healthy weight” range!
- It has been ONLY 30 DAYS!!!
- I haven’t changed those underwear since I started this program…just kidding 😉
Take that Mother’s skirt!!
