Six Pack in 90 Days – Before and After Results

Is it just me or is time flying by? Well, we are down another 30 days, and wow…it got here a lot faster than I thought. Gonna be straight up with you…this last 30 days program was really hard. The exercises were harder, it took more time, and it definitely required more motivation on my end to keep going.

I am glad that it challenged me physically, but I didn’t like that it challenged me to the point of dislike and dread. When you absolutely hate your workout, it’s not going to be successful. With this workout I probably skipped more days in a row and didn’t engage as much as I should have.

That being said, all was not lost! I still DID the workouts, despite loathing most of the exercises. V-ups are still the bane of my existence, and the app tried to make me do so many of them. Well I did my best…LOL, no I didn’t. I did my okayist…because it was HARD and discouraging at times. Additionally, this particular program required free weights. I have free weights…that I’m pretty sure I lent to my dad…sooo I used things like books and nerf guns in place of dumbbells (which also kind of takes away from the effectiveness of the workout).

Ultimately, I’m proud that I completed all three tiers of the six pack in 30 days program. If I were to do it again I would probably repeat level 2 just to prepare my core a little more before the demands of level 3. Additionally, I’d incorporate the correct equipment with level three…always use the right tool for the job!

Results time! As you know from before:

I’m not a fitness model

I don’t have photoshop

There are stretch marks

I have a lot less BABYFAT…but still a little bit 😉

As a recap, I’ve been doing a “Six Pack in 30 Days” workout, which is simply an app with the same name. The first 30 program was for beginners. Check. Conclusion: Normal people don’t get a six pack in 30 days, but it’s a great start to strengthen your core! The second 30 day program was for more advanced beginners. Check. Conclusion: You still don’t get a six pack, but you can whittle down those love handles and get some definition. The last 30 day program is advanced…obviously. Conclusion:

The differences may be small, but we still have some progress!

  • I’m definitely more tan (don’t worry, it was spray on), but there is a little more muscle definition for sure!
  • I’ve lost 5lbs since the last 30 days challenge in conjunction with cardio and eating well.
  • My core continues to get stronger, it’s awesome when jumping off the ground to chase my kids around. I have cat-like reflexes, as it were.
  • The workouts started at about 12 minutes and were at approximately 18 minutes by the end. I think this might be too long for an ab workout with my current lifestyle and motivation level.

All in all, I certainly don’t have a six pack, but it was a great program to jump-start building a better core! I feel stronger, plank longer, and I’m slowly chiseling away that baby fat…which is my goal. Check out the overall before and after!

  • 90 days
  • 90 workouts
  • 21505 kcal burned
  • 12 hours, 25 minutes, and 5 seconds of ab workout fun
  • 25 lbs lost!

I did it! I completed all three levels of the Six Pack in 30 Days app program! Now on to the next goal…I’m thinking abs with booty workout. Want to join with me? What are your favorite ab workouts? Do you have any suggestions for my next challenge?

    1. That’s awesome! Let me know what you’re doing and how it works for you, I’d love to hear! Best of luck!

  1. WOW!!! That’s awesome! And you said it was an app? I’ve recently started counting my macros, and while I work out 2-3 times a week, i’d love something to do in between those days. I can’t make it to the gym, but I may be able to do this. Way to work it!

    1. Yes! The ab workout was just on an app called Six Pack in 30 Days! I like that it gives you reminders and keeps track of your progress! You would definitely be able to do this between gym days, let me know how it goes!

    1. Thank you! I appreciate the support! It’s so hard to get into a good workout routine, but so worth it! Best of luck!
